No lost productivity managing spamBecause most spam filters create a substantial rate of false-positives, they often don't actually delete spam but instead move suspect messages into another folder or modify the "Subject" line to indicate the message's spam probability. These tactics leave the burden of reviewing each and every single message with you, requiring a substantial amount of time and effort, day in and day out. When you grow tired of reviewing every piece of suspected spam (and you will) and simply begin automatically emptying or ignoring the contents of this additional folder, the vendors of these filters can claim that they didn't delete any of your legitimate email, you did! Another common technique used to cover up false-positives is to simply bounce suspect email back to the sender. The rationalization is that if the sender is legitimate, then they will either try again, or will pick up the phone and call you. If you think that receiving Spam is currently taking too much of your time, just imagine the time (and business) that will be lost dealing with those who have had their legitimate email "bounced" as undeliverable. Finally, many systems actually require the people who send you any email (regardless of the content) to "verify" that they are real people, sending a legitimate message. This inconvenience is accomplished by initially blocking and bouncing all of your incoming email and then requiring the original sender to visit a web site to answer a few questions, or by replying with a second "confirmation" message to the blocking system. Though your close family and friends might put up with this, the inconvenience is extreme. Particularly so for those who might write you from more than one email account, as they will have to validate each and every address they use. Worse yet, if you use email for business, then you can rest assured that this will cost you potentially profitable relationships as your competitors are responding to prospects while your system is bouncing leads waiting for additional "verification" from the sender. Because OnlyMyEmail's critical false-positives rate is so low, our customers are spared from all of this wasted time and effort, and the potentially lost business opportunities as well. While you can always review and retrieve any email that we have deleted, after a week or two of initial training you'll find our filters to be more reliable and accurate than any other in existence today.
